Imbolc is also known as Candlemas and the celebration marks for the 'quickening' of the year'. Hence Celts celebrate Imbolc with great vigor.

The goddess light symbol is the moon and the moon represents the three aspects of the godessess or the women, this being the Maid, the Mother, and the Crone. We can describe this as follows, the lunar light form being particularily inspirational.
