The Celtic Heritage Trust will not engage in political issues such as the war in Iraq- however we are firmly committed to assisting the global movement towards sustainable development and believe that the underlying causes of war are not linked to this concept. The CHT believe that should mankind strip away the power struggles that are linked to economic systems and religion- then the fundamental purposes of our very existence may be enabled.

The Celtic Heritage Trust because we were so very unhappy with what was witnessed at the Poverty march decided to continue our mission and attend the march at the actual G8 Summit that was being held at the Gleneagles Hotel, Perthshire, Scotland. Anti Poverty March Edinburgh (July 2nd  2005)

The Celtic Heritage Trust believe that the impact of Climate Change will exasperate any action taken to reduce world poverty- It is likely that impact of climate change will cause for mass migration of peoples from regions such as Africa because desertification will make human life support systems 'food -water etc' virtually impossible to sustain. The CHT had a full representation at the March held in Edinburgh- we were shocked by what we saw OPEN YOUR EYES !
