The Organisation:
The Celtic Heritage Trust (CHT) is a significant environmental and creative arts organisation, specialising in working with people within their communities to bring about positive environmental change. The CHT is an embryonic but fast growing organisation and is already very active in the community at a National level. We provide environmental education at grass roots using traditional creative methodologies, we work towards the protection and the maintenance of habitats, we also regenerate derelict sites and buildings and improve countryside access.
The Vacancy:
Location: Cornwall and surrounding area
Duration: Minimum six months
We would like an education voluntary officer to develop education projects and lead activities with children and adults. The post holder will learn how to develop a project from an idea, gain funding and manage the work load. The successful candidate will receive training in leadership, health and safety, first aid and more. It is likely that.
Accommodation is not provided but is readily available around the city.
The successful candidate will be required to have a CRB check. |
